Sugar cane production in MY 2024 (January-December 2023) is forecast at 9.9 MMT, increasing nearly three percent from the MY 2023 estimate.
Peru’s food processing industry is a dynamic sector of the national economy. The food industry in Peru accounts for almost 27 percent of the industrial gross domestic product.
