Retail food outlets in Taiwan are comprised of convenience stores, supermarkets, and hypermarkets, which generated $32.8 billion worth of sales in 2022, a 4.57 percent growth from 2021.
In 2022, the United States moved up to become the number one market for Taiwan’s agricultural and related exports. However, Taiwan’s exports to the United States, valued at $955 million, did not change substantially from the previous year.
