For CY 2017, production of fresh apples and pears is revised down to 530,000 MT and 500,000 MT, respectively, and table grape production will remain unchanged at 40,000 MT.
In MY2016/17 table grapes, apples and pears were harvested 10 days early compared to a typical production year, due to climatic conditions which favored early fruit development.
