FAS Mumbai forecasts marketing year (MY) 2024/25 coffee production (Oct/Sep) at 6.2 million 60-kilogram bags, four percent higher than the previous forecast due to plentiful southwest monsoon rains that will improve Robusta crop yields.
As a result of renovated plantations and favorable weather conditions, Colombian coffee production reached historical high levels of 14.6 million bags....
The Indian coffee crop for marketing year (Oct/Sep) 2017/18 is forecast at 5.6 million 60-kg bags owing to an increase in Robusta production due to favorable moisture and weather conditions.
The 2017/18 production forecast is unchanged at 10.9 million bags, which is a slight increase from the output in 2016/17.
Brazil’s coffee production for MY 2017/18 is revised down to 51.2 million 60-kg bags.
