The U.S.-Japan Trade Agreement (USJTA) entered Year 5 of the agreement implementation on April 1, 2023. This report is one in a series of product briefs highlighting the tariff benefits for specific commodities and products from Year 5 (2023) to Year 7 (2025) of the Agreement.
Tanzania’s coffee production will increase to 1.15 million bags in the marketing year (MY) 2017/2018, from 1.05 million bags in MY 2016/2017, primarily due to the biennial bearing cycle.
The 2016/2017 coffee harvest in Nicaragua is a record crop with an estimated production of 2.3 million 60 kg bags, a seven percent increase compared to the previous year.
