Post forecasts MY 2021/22 cotton production to increase by four percent to 29.5 million 480 lb. bales on an area of 12.9 million hectares.
Area planted to cotton in MY 2016/17 has declined slightly compared to 2015/16 levels as a consequence of rains in the planting season.
