On December 14, 2021, the World Trade Organization (WTO) released its findings from the dispute panel initiated in August 2019 against India’s trade distorting sugar subsidies. The WTO report found that India’s subsidies violated its obligations under the multilateral agreement.

This biannual report, published in May and November, includes data on U.S. and global trade, production, consumption and stocks, as well as analysis of developments affecting world trade in sugar.

This annual report provides information on U.S. sugar import and re-exports, including the fill rate of the sugar TRQs and sugar imports from Mexico.
