Production of oilseeds (including canola, soybeans, and sunflower seeds) is forecast to increase only marginally in MY 2025/26 over the previous marketing year, reaching 25.57 million MT.

Argentina’s oilseed sector faces a mixed outlook in MY 2024/25, Post lowers soybean production to 49 MMT, impacted by drought but showing signs of recovery, while sunflower (4 MMT) and peanut (1.605 MMT) production remain strong.

In marketing year (MY) 2024/25, Bulgaria harvested its smallest oilseed crop in 15 years due to hot and dry summer weather negatively impacting yields.
