On June 1, 2017, Ecuador’s National Assembly approved the “Organic Law on Agrobiodiversity, Seeds and Promotion of Sustainable Agriculture.”
Peru’s coffee production in marketing year (MY) 2016/17 (April/March) is forecast at 3.2 million bags (60-kilograms per bag), increasing over 5 percent compared to the previous year.
