Mexican sugar production for marketing year 2015/16 is forecast to be at 6.5 million metric tons rawvalue (MMT-RV), although there is not yet an official forecast.

Argentine sugar production for 2015/16 is projected up at 2.25 million metric tons.

For marketing year (MY) 2015/16, planted area of rapeseed is expected to diminish 2.3 percent in response to declining rapeseed prices as some producers switch to grains.
