Morocco: Grain and Feed Update
For MY 2016/17, Post is lowering its estimates for wheat production from 3.7 to 2.8 million MT and barley production from 1 million MT to 0.9 million MT. The decline in total production is about 66 percent lower compared to the previous year and is due to the severe drought the entire growing season. This large drop will result in higher demand for imported grains during the next marketing year.
