Kyrgyzstan: Law on Veterinary Medicine Notified to WTO

On January 8, 2016, the Kyrgyz Republic notified the World Trade Organization (WTO) of its Law on Veterinary Medicine via G/SPS/N/KGZ/6. The notified document was adopted at the end of 2014 and amended in July 2015. This report contains an unofficial translation of the law, which defines the legal, social, administrative, financial and economic framework in the field of veterinary medicine in the Kyrgyz Republic. The notification G/SPS/N/KGZ/6 does not provide for a comment period for this measure.

The cattle round-up started out in Texas making its way via Chicago to Doha with landfall in Coastal West Africa's Accra (Ghana).
