Kenya: FAIRS Export Certificate Report

  |   Attaché Report (GAIN)

This report updates on the certificates required to export food and agricultural products into Kenya and complements the FAIRS Country Report. The Government of Kenya (GOK) is implementing a single window for import clearance under a new agency, the Kenya Trade Network Agency (KENTRADE). The system is now able to process export and import permits issued by the Kenya Bureau of Standards
(Kebs), Kenya Plant Health Inspectorate Services (KEPHIS) and the Department of Veterinary Services (DVS), and once fully operational will integrate 25 government agencies that are involved in import/export certification and clearance. See http://kentrade.go.ke/
