Jordan: WTO Notification on Feed Requirements for Meat from Poultry

On October 20, 2023, Jordan notified the World Trade Organization (WTO) of a new Sanitary and Phytosanitary (SPS) measure on poultry meat imports (G/SPS/N/JOR/44). The measure requires poultry meat to be produced using feed free from animal powders of ruminant origin. Comments on this measure are due no later than December 19, 2023, and the proposed date of entry into force for the measure is February 20, 2024.
