Indonesia revised Regulation 26/2017 on dairy partnerships, removing problematic compulsory elements and linkages to import permit issuance. U.S. SMP exports increased 87 percent through August 2018, but challenges loom as established and pending free trade agreements offer tariff advantages to competing suppliers.
