India: FSSAI Updates Standards of Dried Salted and Fishery Products

The Government of India’s (GOI) Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) amended the Food Safety and Standards (Food Products Standards and Food Additives) Regulations, 2011, to update its standards for dried/salted and dried fishery products. The GOI is currently seeking comments from interested public stakeholders regarding these draft regulations. The deadline for the public comment period is September 4, 2015.
