On June 29, 2016, FSSAI invited comments on a draft notification related to additional additives/enzymes/processing aids for use in alcoholic beverages including alcohol free and low alcoholic counterparts and for non-carbonated water based beverages (non-alcoholic). The comment period is 30 days from date of notification.
