The Government of India’s (GOI) Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) published draft guidelines for food business operators (FBO). The draft guidelines stipulate mandatory licenses for all food manufacturers, importers, distributors, storage units, marketers, retailers, and suppliers.

Indonesia: Indonesia Clarifies Prior Notice and Export Timing Requirements with Key Barriers Remaining

Upon request from Post, the Indonesian Quarantine Agency clarified in writing that the export timing and Prior Notice requirements take effect on June 4, 2025, via regulation 14/2024 and provided additional clarifications on the regulation.
