The Government of India’s (GOI) Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) amended the Food Safety and Standards (Contaminants, Toxins and Residues) Regulations, 2011, to update tolerance limits for various food contaminants. The draft Regulation has been notified to the World Trade Organization (WTO) for comments from member countries and the comment period expires 60 days beyond the notification date listed on the WTO website (www.wto.org).
