Hong Kong: Second Culling of Pigs in a Week due to ASF

Following the Hong Kong government’s confirmation on February 4, 2021 that pigs on a farm were infected with African Swine Fever (ASF) and the ensuing culling of 240 cohort pigs in the same shed, two pigs in another shed of the same farm tested positive with ASF two days later. This led to the further culling of 590 pigs.
