Hong Kong: Guidelines for Metallic Contamination Regulation

This report relays the Hong Kong government’s guidelines of the Food Adulteration (Metallic Contamination) (Amendment) Regulation. This amendment regulation, enacted in October 2018, will come into operation for fresh food on November 1, 2019. The Hong Kong Center for Food Safety has published the Guidelines for the amended regulation in order to help the industry cope with the changes.
