China: GACC 2022 Special Announcement 88 on Customs Clearance Declaration Modifications

On September 19, 2022, the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China (GACC) published 2022 Special Announcement Number 88 amending the customs clearance declaration requirements for importers or consignees of non-cold chain products. One change is that importers or consignees must mark whether the items had received "preventative disinfection" and the second change is a requirement for the product to have "preventative disinfection" and the "export" or "departure" date needs to be provided for customs clearance.
