China: Exclusion Period of Section 301 Retaliatory Tariffs on Sorbitol Extended

On November 29, 2024, the State Council Tariff Commission (SCTC) of the People’s Republic of China (PRC) announced an extension of the Section 301 retaliatory tariff exclusion period for sorbitol along with several other non-agricultural commodities to February 28, 2025. The exclusion was set to expire on November 30, 2024. Previous extensions have been for a period of six months while this extension is for three months. This report contains an unofficial translation of the SCTC announcement.
