Infographic showing trade figures for U.S. agricultural exports to China

The United States and China enjoy a history of collaboration in agriculture that dates back to the 1970s. Over the years, the U.S.-China agricultural relationship has grown and strengthened through high-level fora such as the 2012 Agricultural Symposium and the Joint Commission on Commerce and Trade

The United States' engagement with China has encouraged that country to adhere to international standards and to adopt rational, forward-looking agricultural policies that benefit both U.S. and Chinese producers and consumers.
