For fiscal year (FY) 2025, USDA has identified the following as priority countries for new McGovern-Dole cooperative agreements: Benin, Burkina Faso, Côte d’Ivoire, Honduras, Mozambique, Pakistan, Senegal, and Sierra Leone.

Growing up on a farm in Northeast Iowa taught me the values of resilience and innovation—qualities that have guided my work as USDA’s Under Secretary for Trade and Foreign Agricultural Affairs.
