The U.S. Department of Agriculture will spearhead a trade mission to Bangkok, Thailand, from Feb. 3-6, 2025, to expand agricultural exports and strengthen trade ties in Southeast Asia. The mission includes more than 40 agribusinesses, trade organizations, and representatives from five state departments of agriculture.

Export Sales to China and Taiwan

Private exporters reported the following sales activity for MY 2024/2025: 132,000 MT of soybeans for delivery to China and 135,000 MT of corn for delivery to Taiwan.

Export Sales to Taiwan and Unknown Destinations

Private exporters reported the following sales activity: 110,000 MT of corn for delivery to Taiwan during MY 2023/2024 and 126,000 MT of soybean cake and meal for delivery to unknown destinations - 30,000 MT during MY 2023/2024 and 96,000 MT during MY 2024/2025.

USDA Trade Mission to East Africa Underway

Deputy Secretary Dr. Jewel Bronaugh arrived today in Nairobi to launch a USDA agribusiness trade mission. The U.S. delegation includes representatives from 32 agribusinesses and farm organizations looking to establish trade relationships and explore opportunities for U.S. exports to East Africa.
