Post forecasts Ukraine’s total fluid milk production in 2026 to decline further, due to decrease in cow inventory, industrial production challenges related to the Russia-Ukraine war, and inefficient household production.

FAS Bangkok forecasts MY 2025/26 rice production to marginally drop compared to MY 2024/25, while Thailand’s MY 2025/26 rice exports will fall sharply in response to strong global competition, especially among white rice producers.

Feed demand forecasts are revised downward due to lower than expected growth in livestock feed demand and increased exports of local feed ingredients. Wheat consumption and imports are revised slightly upward, reflecting stronger than expected demand from food processors.

Thai rice exports continued a steady decline in October with year-to-date shipments below last year’s level as logistics challenges persisted. Harvest progress for marketing Year 2025/26 main-crop rice proceeded on schedule with stable yields, supported by improved water conditions and favorable monsoon rainfall.
