This report provides an overview of Israeli food and feed legislation. The Government of Israel continues to adopt EU legislation and incorporate it into local legislation. All sections of this report have been updated to reflect the adopted EU regulations and directives into Israeli legislation thus far (as of December 15, 2025).

The Government of Morocco continues to subsidize bread wheat imports based on a fixed flat-rate premium. This measure is valid until April 30, 2026, and is intended to maintain low bread prices and encourage stock building. Post has no changes for production, supply, and demand estimates for MY 2025/2026.

Australia is forecast to produce a record barley crop in marketing year (MY) 2025/26, while wheat production is expected to reach the second-highest level on record. A notable outcome given that seasonal conditions across most winter crop–producing regions were well below optimal. Wheat exports are forecast to rise by 14 percent to 27.0 million metric tons (MMT) in MY 2025/26, the third-highest level on record.

Turkiye is among the world’s leading economies and home to a young, mostly urban population of 85.7 million people. This dynamic has fueled the country’s rising demand for consumer-oriented agricultural products.
