In 2024, Taiwan was the tenth largest export market for U.S. agricultural and related products, valued at $3.6 billion. Imported food and agricultural products must comply with a range of laws designed to protect human health and prevent the introduction of animal and plant pests or diseases.

China’s coffee market is estimated at $42 billion in 2024, with consumption exceeding 240,000 metric tons, an increase of nearly 150 percent over the past decade. Consumption growth is expected to remain strong at approximately 15 percent annually, positioning China among the fastest-growing coffee markets globally.
