The 2025 Food and Agriculture Import Regulations and Standards (FAIRS) Annual Country Report for Türkiye outlines specific requirements for importing food and agricultural products into Türkiye and should be read in conjunction with the 2025 FAIRS Export Certificate Report for Türkiye. In 2024, The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry (MinAF) amended the labeling regulation and revised its guidelines to prevent the use of misleading images, names, and expressions for food products. At the beginning of 2026, MinAF plans to ban the import of certain animal products unless they come from approved establishments.
