Thailand: Grain and Feed Monthly

  |   Attaché Report (GAIN)   |   TH2025-0028
FAS Bangkok forecasts MY 2025/26 rice production to marginally drop compared to MY 2024/25, while Thailand’s MY 2025/26 rice exports will fall sharply in response to strong global competition, especially among white rice producers. Domestic MY 2025/26 corn production is stable, with imports and feed alternatives meeting growing demand, while regulatory controls keep domestic corn prices high. The Thai government announced intentions to place additional environmental requirements on corn imports in 2026. Post projects lower MY 2025/26 wheat imports due to high stocks and a change in quota administration.
