On December 23, 2021, the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China (GACC) published a notice that the inspection and quarantine requirements for imported dairy products, which include health certificates, import quarantine permits, and testing reports will now be subject to the details specified in GACC Announcement No. 114. On November 9, Burma published new negative import lists that indicate the products required to have import licenses with notification 18/2021, which included apples, grapes, oranges, pears and butter and milk products.

South Korea: Update on New Korean Dairy Certificate

This is an update to the Republic of Korea’s export certificate requirements for dairy products including those containing eggs such as ice cream.
On July 6, 2021 China's General Administration of Customs (GACC) implemented a notification and commitment system that allows importers (or agents) to certify to the possession of testing reports for imported dairy products, in lieu of submitting the original testing reports to GACC, when clearing customs.
On June 16, 2021, China notified draft National Food Safety Standard of Cream, Butter and Anhydrous Milk Fat (GB19646-xxxx) to the WTO SPS Committee as G/SPS/N/CHN/1221.
