Poland: Cherry Production Forecast to Drop in Poland

  |   Attaché Report (GAIN)   |   PL2025-0009
For year 2025, FAS Warsaw forecasts Poland’s total cherry production at 115,000 metric tons (MT), consisting of 80,000 sour cherries and 35,000 of sweet cherries. If realized, this would be thirty percent lower production than the previous year and over a fifty percent decrease from the six-year average. Frosts in April and May damaged cherry orchards, especially impacting early-fruiting varieties.
