Country Risk Ratings

NOTE:  Effective May 4, 2012, the maximum allowable tenor is 2.0 years.

Fees

Beginning July 1, 2005, the fee structure for the GSM-102 program was changed to a risk-based approach. By examining a number of factors, including CCC’s experience in the operation of the program in the particular country, CCC assigns a numeric risk category (from 0-6, lowest to highest). The risk category (along with other factors) determines the fee charged. The corresponding risk-based categories are shown next to the listed countries below.  The GSM-102 fee schedule, which contains fee rates by risk category, tenor, and repayment frequency, can be found at http://www.fas.usda.gov/excredits/gsm102fees.html.

Frequency of Updates

CCC intends to update both this web page and the risk category for a country when circumstances warrant.  No official USDA program announcement of these updates will be made unless warranted.
