National Weather Service - Seasonal Drought Outlook Map - Forecast through January 2003.
The National Weather Service predicts that, for the period from now through January 2003, the drought across the western states should expand across the eastern Pacific Northwest and also develop over Hawaii.  The Southwest should see some drought relief as should Colorado and Nebraska.  The Southeast and Mid-Atlantic should also see an easing of their multi-year drought.
