Friday Global Crop Condition Brief
The following series of graphics highlight notable weather and crop developments in key production areas. Featured countries/regions or topics this week are Ethiopia, Turkey, Australia, and the United States.
The National Weather Service predicts that, for the period from now through
January 2003, the drought across the western states should expand across the
eastern Pacific Northwest and also develop over Hawaii. The Southwest
should see some drought relief as should Colorado and Nebraska. The
Southeast and Mid-Atlantic should also see an easing of their multi-year
drought.
