This image from 6:15 am on Tuesday, September 24, 2002, shows tropical storm Isidore plowing across the Yucutan Peninsula to enter the Gulf of Mexico. To the south, tropical strom Lili is bright orange, gathering steam as she moves northwest toward Hispaniola. Less vivid but building is Kyle, due north of Hispaniola.
