Australian Wheat Production Way Down Under

Comparison of Rainfall Distribution and Amount for August 2002 and 1994

Wheat areas in Queensland and New South Wales received only 0 to 50 percent of normal precipitation during  August, both in 1994 and 2002.  Rainfall in Western Australia is similar between the two comparison years.  In 2002, South Australia has received significantly more rain.
