Kashmir Region

The Kashmir Region includes a Chinese-controlled area about 16,500 square miles located in the northeast. The Indian area is administered as the state of Jammu and Kashmir with an approximate area of 38,830 square miles; the Pakistani area is administered as Azad Kashmir 30,480 square miles.
