05/19/99 – Landsat TM, Ch. 4,5,3 = RGB  - Barton Co., Kansas

The bright light blue fields are recently planted summer crop fields who's top levels have dried out.  The bright red indicates that the wheat, which is in good condition, is less advanced in stage compared to May 5, 2000.
