Electronic Fund Transfer System

All Cooperators and Participants

1400
Independence Ave.,

Stop 1042
Washington. DC
20250-1042
Participants are strongly encouraged to use the USDA Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) system which automatically credits FAS and CCC payments directly to your financial institution in lieu of mailing a check. This service alleviates the possibility of lost or stolen checks; saves cooperators and participants the trouble and time involved in depositing checks; and eliminates reliance on mail service.

Please review the steps that must be followed to implement the EFT system for the appropriate marketing program.

Foreign Market Development Program (FMD)

Contact the National Finance Center (NFC) Miscellaneous Payment Section toll free on 1-800-421-0323. NFC will send the cooperator/participant an enrollment package containing Form NFC-1107, Enrollment Form Vender Express Program, and specific completion instructions. The NFC-1107 will contain the NFC-assigned nine-digit vender cooperator identification number

  1. The Cooperator must make note of the NFC-assigned vendor identification number and return the completed NFC-1107 to the NFC.

  2. The Cooperator must notify their financial institution that they will be receiving wire transfers from NFC and make all appropriate arrangements.

  3. The Cooperator must include the vendor identification number as part of the remittance address immediately preceding the city, state and zip code on all expense reports. A complete remittance address is required on the expense report so that if the financial institution enrollment information becomes invalid, a check payment will be forwarded to the remittance address indicated on the expense report.

    Market Access Program

The Participant must notify the Marketing Operations Staff in writing that they plan to use EFT for the Market Access Program. Please provide your nine digit bank ABA number (routing number); participant bank account number; and the name of the bank with telephone number.

If there are any questions concerning these instructions, please contact the Marketing Operations Staff on (202) 720-4327.
