Processing FMD Reimbursement Claims All FMD Cooperators |

Background: | Beginning with fiscal year 2000, funding for the Cooperator Program was transferred from FAS= appropriation to the Commodity Credit Corporation (CCC). If Cooperators have FAS funds remaining in their project agreements, reimbursement claims will be paid by FAS with those fund first. Once these funds are fully expended, payment for reimbursement claims will shift to CCC. To accurately track both FAS and CCC funds and disbursements, FAS has had to modify its computerized accounting system to accommodate this change. |
| Notice: | Processing of FMD reimbursement claims will be
suspended from May 8, 2000 to May 16, 2000, for adequate testing of the new accounting system. This suspension will delay the payment of FMD reimbursement claims only. Once testing is complete, we will immediately resume processing reimbursement claims. |
