BACKGROUND: | Currently, MAP participants receive a cover memo, a participant report, and a Lotus spreadsheet for every expense claim that is processed by MOS. The participant report is generated from budget and expenditure data in the U.S. Agricultural Marketing System (USAM). The Lotus spreadsheet has maintained separately by the program specialists in MOS and was used as a back-up system for USAM. |
| ACTION: | Since the USAM is the official financial management system for the MAP and is fully operational, MOS will no longer provide the Lotus spreadsheet to participants as part of the reimbursement notification package. The USAM generated participant report should now be used to reconcile budget information. If you notice discrepancies in this report, please contact your marketing specialist as soon as possible to resolve these errors. This will help alleviate any future problems associated with processing expense claims. | |
