| MICHAEL LEPORTE: Rex. REX WOOLLEN: Thank you. Rex Woollen, farmer from Wilcox representing ag producers. I remember as a young boy growing up and one year in particular 1955, wheat was right at $2.50 per bushel and parts from my father's combine, I know that were not more than 10 percent than what they are today. I haven't paid much attention to the wheat market the last few days. I know it hasn't been much more $2.50 bushel. The expenses are at least 90 percent higher than what they were back in 1995. And we as farmers can't continue to produce wheat and other farm products at this current rate. Thank you very much. |
