Sugar Monthly Import and Re-Export Data Report Archives

  • Tables are re-numbered; the Summary that previously was Table 7 is now Table 1.
  • In April 2012, USDA announced an increase in the fiscal year (FY) 2012 raw sugar tariff-rate quota (TRQ) of 420,000 short tons raw value (STRV), which is equivalent to 381,018 metric tons raw value (MTRV). The Office of the U.S. Trade Representative later allocated this TRQ increase, and reallocated unused TRQ quantities among supplying countries and customs areas. See Table 3B.
  • New in this report, Table 8 includes summary information of all transactions in the Sugar Re-export Program, including aggregate beginning and ending balances of license holders.
  • Also new in this report, Tables 9 and Table 10 provide details of all projected sugar entries.
  • This report was compiled and reconciled by William Janis, Angel F. Gonzalez, and Ronald Lord. Questions, comments, and/or suggestions about this report should be directed to Angel F. Gonzalez at: angel.f.gonzalez@fas.usda.gov or 202-720-2916.
