Standards-Setting Bodies

Codex Alimentarius: Develops food standards, guidelines and related texts such as codes of practice under the Joint FAO/WHO Food Standards Program.
U.S. Codex Office: Representatives of several U.S. departments and agencies serve as members of the policy or technical committees, delegates to Codex meetings, or committee chairs. 

World Organization for Animal Health (OIE): Intergovernmental organization responsible for improving animal health worldwide.

International Organization for Standardization (ISO): The world's largest developer and publisher of international standards.

International Organization of Wine and Vine (OIV): An intergovernmental organization of a scientific and technical nature or recognized competence for its works concerning vines, wine, wine-based beverages, table grapes, raisins and other vine-based products.

International Phytosanitary Portal (IPP): An international treaty to secure action to prevent the spread and introduction of pests of plants and plant products, and to promote appropriate measures for their control.   

World Standards Services Network (WSSN): A network of publicly accessible World Wide Web servers of standards organizations around the world.
