In Iowa, the team stopped at the farm of Dick and Sharon Thompson. The Thompsons are the founders of Practical Farmers of Iowa and participate in on-farm research. Mr. Thompson hosts educational field days where he highlights the sustainable agriculture system he has developed over the years on their 350-acre farm.
