| Clagett Farm is a 285-acre
farm in Upper Marlboro, MD, owned and operated by the Chesapeake Bay
Foundation (CBF), a nonprofit environmental organization, working to
save the bay. The farm has four elements: 1. Research in sustainable
farming practices, 2. A diversified commercial farm operation, 3. An
education program for youth and adults, and 4. Agricultural policy
evaluation.
Michael Heller, manager of Chesapeake Bay Foundation’s Clagett Farm, visited with Sheri Liao to discuss soil and water conservation, no-till farming and rotational grazing. |
