is the official website for more than
1,000,000 alumni of exchange programs
sponsored by the U.S. Department of State’s
Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. Interactive, dynamic and password-protected,

offers alumni from all U.S.
government-sponsored exchange programs a
place to network with other alumni from
around the globe; share information about
exchange programs and alumni activities;
participate in Q&A Live discussions with
experts; and access resources such as
grants, jobs and research databases.

website is a community for YOU, USDA
Exchange Alumni! USDA Exchange Alumni are welcome and
encouraged to contribute content to the news
and announcement sections, discussion
forums, job announcements, and photo
galleries. Members are also able to connect
with alumni from other government programs
both within USDA and programs hosted by
other departments. Once you join the

NEWS
We encourage our members to participate and
take advantage of State Alumni's resources.
Opportunities include the ability to apply
for grants. Recently, a proposal by a
group of Borlaug Fellows was selected as a finalist in the Alumni
Engagement Innovation Fund on State Alumni.
The proposal was entitled Empowering Rural
Women Through Innovative Trainings in
Specific Agricultural Occupations in
Selected Communities in the Americas and
Africa. The proposal focuses on training
women in Ecuador and Nigeria in the
production of chocolate to diversify income
and improve economic wellbeing.
