Latin America & Caribbean Region
Since 1984 the
Cochran Fellowship Program’s Latin America &
Caribbean (LAC) region has grown from 3 countries
(Mexico, Venezuela, and Colombia) and 50 Fellows, to
hosting over 3,321 Fellows from 37 different
countries. During the last fiscal year, the Latin
America & Caribbean region coordinated 13 programs
for 88 Fellows in 20 countries.
