One kilogram (kg) = 2.2046 lbs., one metric ton (mt) = 2,204.62 lbs. or 1.10231 short tons, and one hectare = 2.471 acres. One ton of refined cane sugar = 1.07 tons of sugar, raw value. One ton of refined beet sugar = 1.087 tons of sugar, raw value (except for the United States which is 1.07).
